Gram listed his opinion of the teams we cover, so I'll give mine in a nutshell:
Michigan Football: Shane Morris + Derrick Green + Kalis + more badass linemen = a future offense that has as much hype as Henne, Hart, Long, and Manningham. Hopefully they'll live up to expectations better than their predecessors.
Michigan Basketball: Most athletic team in years. This is the best squad I can remember (all 8 years or so I've been aware of their play). They are still fairly young, but this freshman class is the best since the fab 5. That said, their youth often becomes a factor when they play. In order for this to be our year, they are going to have to cut down on the mistakes quickly, especially with how talented the Big Ten is this year. Beat Sparty and OSU please.
Michigan Hockey: Luckily, the year I got season tickets this team is having one of its worst years ever.
Pistons: Until this squad develops into something like the 2004 championship squad, all I'll be is frustrated with them. There is some potential in the younger players, but nothing has persuaded me to think they will develop into a powerhouse anytime soon.
Lions: If Schwartz regresses again this year, he needs to go.
Tigers: Solid. I'm a little skeptical about the Torii Hunter deal. :/ However, Ilitch has the team in good form.
Red Wings: PSEUDO-HOCKEYTOWN PLAYOFF-ONLY FAN YEAH! Luckily, the year I've actually started watching some hockey the Red Wings are predicted not make the playoffs in 20 some years. I probably won't get to see them play very often, as Jeremy owns the T.V., and therefore the Bruins take priority.
Bayern Munich: My favorite soccer team. I may occasionally mention them when they do something cool.
Now for...
My Opinion of Boston sports teams:
Celtics: Ughh
Bruins: Jeremy may have made this team my second favorite NHL team.
Patriots: Fun team to watch. Wes Welker's the man. I usually cheer for them in the playoffs...
Red Sox: Little to no opinion. Gram's rants about how awful the management is are entertaining. The only thing I can say is that I like them better than the Yankees.
Revolution: My FIFA user-created player should have signed with them instead of the Chicago Fire.
